I am working to amplify this cause and make sure that the plight of our Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) community, our brothers and sisters, is front and center and impossible to ignore.

Hate is a virus, yes, but white supremacy and domestic terrorism are the problems, the triggers. These recent attacks have been about racism and misogyny – pure and simple. White supremacy and ignorance have run rampant in modern America, and we must stand up against it.

We must not stand idly by. We must do something.

We shall do everything.

Vote out your racist lawmakers. Stand up for, and with, your AAPI neighbors and community members.

Do not tolerate violence from those who choose racism and hate.

You can make a difference. It starts with you and me and it starts RIGHT NOW.
